Certified EMDR Therapist ~ LGTBQ  ~ Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist

Do you experience any of the following?

  • Fear, stress, anxiety
  • PTSD/Trauma
  • Chronic pain
  • Gender identity questioning/transgendering
  • Addictions and cravings
  • Grief from loss, transition
  • Autism spectrum disorder/Asperger’s Syndrome
  • Couple issues due to partner being on the autism spectrum
  • A stagnant career, feeling of being in the wrong job

Counseling can help with these conditions, which are areas of special interest and experience in my psychotherapy practice. My approach is gentle and client-centered, using a variety of techniques and theories, including EMDR to treat traumatic memories, chronic pain, phobias, anxiety, depression, and a host of other issues.

I treat adults in the general population, the LGTBQ population, as well as those on the autism spectrum.  For the general population, I offer individual counseling for a wide variety of issues such as trauma, anxiety and depression, life transitions, aging, and relationship troubles. For those on the autism spectrum, I provide Asperger’s Syndrome/Autism Spectrum/A.S.D. screening for adults, individual counseling, counseling for couples with a member on the spectrum, and anxiety and depression counseling. If you are on the spectrum, please see my pages under Autism Spectrum Disorders. I also provide trauma counseling, and am a Certified in EMDR Therapy. EMDR can be used effectively for a wide variety of issues, such as recent trauma, complex trauma, phobias, changing habits, addictions and cravings, dysfunctional beliefs, and more. For more information about EMDR, see my page entitled, “Trauma Counseling/EMDR“.
